Mother and Toddler Maternity Photo Session
When a mother is expecting her second child, she will often ask to have the older sibling included in the maternity photo shoot. This heartwarming studio session showcases the special bond between a mother and her child in anticipation of a new addition to the family. Our goal was to create timeless, emotive images in a cosy bedroom setup. Little N, familiar with the studio, was pleasantly surprised to see the transformed bedroom setting. She initially thought it was prepared for her nap time.
With a toddler leading the show, we captured several spontaneous moments, resulting in a unique collection of images.

The studio’s inviting atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for capturing these genuine moments of love and connection, enhanced by well-planned props to engage a busy two-year-old.
I offer a complimentary mini maternity photo shoot for each mother who books her newborn photo shoot with me. This session allows us to get to know each other better and provides the opportunity to discuss the upcoming newborn photo session, whether it will be in my studio in Somerset West, or at home.
