Capturing Family Moments in the Studio
I first met D when she booked a newborn session for her first baby at my studio in Somerset West. We started with her maternity session, exploring multiple looks to capture her journey. Nine months after her newborn session, she returned for a mini session when her baby was 9 months old – a session that remains one of my favourites. The baby was full of energy and charm, playing to the camera with such natural cuteness.
Recently, D reached out again, this time for a session with her 9-month-old son. Her older child, now five, still has that vibrant personality, providing us with many heartwarming images. Her baby brother, a little more serious but just as endearing, surprised us with his curious expressions as he moved around like a little steam engine. With all the funny noises and playful interactions, we captured some truly memorable moments.
About Our Studio Family Photo Session
In every studio family photo session, or on-location shoot, I come prepared with a series of ideas and a planned flow. However, when little ones are involved, creativity takes the lead, and the session often unfolds in delightful, unexpected ways. The genuine interactions between parents and their children bring out the most authentic and heartwarming images, making each session unique and special.
