Our top Kruger National Park sightings in September 2022

To start off 2023’s posts I am blogging our Kruger images of last year. We stayed for 3 full weeks and had very good sightings.

Our beloved Kruger Park is about 2 million hectares big an has unrivalled diversity of life forms.

We focused on the south of the park, staying over at Pretoriuskop, then Skukuza, Lower Sabie and lastly at Berg en Dal. At Pretoriuskop and Skukuza camp chalets had beautiful views.

The big Chacma baboon photographed on the bench is dominating Skukuza camp currently with his bully behaviour.

Thank you to my supportive husband, Gerbrand, for allowing me to include his images.

To share a little technical info: I set my camera’s white balance set on Kelvin this time and I am pleasantly surprised on how much more I like the colour rendition comparing to using Auto White Balance.

Lastly, editing with the latest updates of Lightoom Classic’s masks makes wildlife photo editing a breeze.
