My Favourite Family from Kleinmond
One of the highlights of my mini sessions is reconnecting with my longtime clients. I’ve known this lovely mom since she was a schoolgirl, and it was both amusing and heartwarming to see them arrive at the studio in a minibus, fully immersed in the beautiful chaos of raising children! Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing their family memories, from newborn shoots for each child to an outdoor family session when they were toddlers. And now, one is about to start high school—time flies!
Setting the Scene
With parents who have a no-nonsense approach and children who are clearly well-raised, this shoot was an absolute delight. The kids were warm, friendly, and super cooperative, excited about their upcoming trip to the super tube in Strand after the session. Their energy made the shoot so much fun, and everything went smoothly.
Delivering What Matters
It always fills my heart when a client, especially a mom, is in awe of the final images. Knowing that I can provide memories they’ll cherish is incredibly fulfilling. For this mini session, we took beautiful shots of the entire family, individual portraits of the children, sibling photos, and of course, a lovely headshot of mom and dad together. Creating these treasured memories is what makes my work so rewarding.
