Cake Smash Studio Shoot for Jani’s First Birthday
Cake smash studio photo shoots have become increasingly popular, with mums getting very creative in planning these delightful events. Cake smash props are now widely available in shops, making it easier to create memorable sessions.
My dedicated baby photography studio in Somerset West is perfect for little ones. We begin with a telephonic pre-session planning discussion, and mum usually delivers her props a few days before the shoot so I can prepare the studio. During the winter months, I ensure the studio is warm and cosy.
CHOICE OF SHOOT & SETTING THE TONE
For cake smash studio photo shoots, mum arrives with her chosen birthday cake and any balloons she prefers. Jani eagerly dug into the cake, and as expected, she was quite upset when the cake eating was over. However, she was soon delighted to play in the warm water we brought in to wash away the cake and icing, allowing mum to change into clean clothes.
I hope you enjoy the images as much as we did. Mom ordered an album for herself, as well as for the two grandmothers of this delightful photo session.
