Annalie, has very good genes. As a matter of fact, it may be true that the other three grandparents have them too, but the liveliness and loveliness in this energetic group of offspring most likely come through her.
The fact that they group together seamlessly and subsequently fit together like a puzzle shows that they do spend quality time together.
By the way, Annelie’s sons and their wives are super attentive to their children. They know how to get the best out of them. In between, one of them will instinctively come up with an idea or a gesture. This shows the strong connection between them, consequently leading to their brood’s radiating confidence and self-assuredness.
We certainly have a ballerina in the making. The little madam will particularly throw up an elongated leg and point her toes in the air when she feels the moment asks for it. Our little mermaid from the previous shoot has grown into a charming lady. Big brother is almost a teenager and little brother is an energy ball. The baby with the cute curls now has a beautiful cascade of strawberry blond hair. And, we have two new additions, including the ballerina.
Working with families, I think, increases my mothering hormones/endorphins. Because, even the days after the shoot, as I work through their images, I still feel love, warmth, and even pride. I sincerely hope that these images will give them lots of joy and bring back memories of this fun time spent with their ouma Annelie.
